Our journey begins with visits to three areas of Ecuador. The first is exploring the wonders of the Galapagos Islands aboard a catamaran for seven-days. It is here where all of the birds and animals basically live without fear of predators, particularly the humankind. Next, we head into Ecuador's Amazon for several nights and this is followed by a five-day visit to the Tandayapa Valley, which is renowned for birding.

 

In the English-speaking country of Belize, the camera is kept busy taking pictures (day and night) of birds, wildlife, flowers and historic Mayan ruins.

 

Both countries were fabulous to visit.
