Welcome to The Village In Howard!
The Village in Howard is a member-based COMMUNITY of Howard County residents 55 and older who want to continue to live independently in the homes and neighborhoods they know. Membership benefits include, not only various social and cultural activities, but access to various services such as transportation, home repair from vetted contractors, and assistance with simple house maintenance. These benefits enable members to actively age in place.
We are a member of the Village to Village Network. There are over 350 senior villages in the US.

GETTING PAST TEXTING: Communicating with Grandchildren
Annoyed by texts or email from the grandkids? Wish the “old way” was prevalent? Does electronic communication affect your family relationships? TVIH member, Dr. Roger McIntire, author and psychologist, will share his insights and suggestions at a presentation on Tuesday, June 13 at the Miller Library in Ellicott City.
The $10 fee will help our “supported membership” initiative to aid those residents who cannot afford the full fee. Registration necessary, click here or call the office at (443) 367-9043.
