Special Speaker: Mike Antonucci

Mike Antonucci, a new TVIH member, will teach us collectible trends, tips on care and preservation of items, and suggestions of places and events where people might like to hunt.
Mike Antonucci, one of TVIH’snewest members, is a lifelongjournalist, formally retired butstill freelancing. He was a reporter, an editor anda columnist for 31 years at the San Jose MercuryNews in Silicon Valley, at various timescovering sports, lifestyle topics andwriting about media and technology. He often wrote about consumer culture andcollectibles.
Mike later was senior writer for StanfordUniversity’s alumni magazine, reporting indepth on many similar subjects in the context of student activities and facultyresearch.
Mike is an avid collector of comic booksand certain sports items and toys. Hecurrently writes a blog as part of volunteerwork for the Chesapeake Collectibles show, Maryland Public Television’s regional versionof the national Antiques Roadshow program(on which one of his possessions wasrecently featured).

This educational program is for TVIH members and older adults from Howard County.
Volunteers (TVIH members) will take turns to serve as the hosts of the GMH zoom meetings. The hosts will greet the participants and make introductions.
