The Thursday Talk and Walk for October 15 is at the Savage Mill Trail, starting from the east end of the Mill on Foundry Street.  We can park near the Brewing Good Coffee Shop and gather at the end of the parking lot nearest the Bollman Bridge.  Much of this walk is on gravel, but it is well groomed and level.  From Route 1, take Gorman Road to Foundry Street and go into Savage.  The mill and parking lot are on the left.   Set your GPS for 8600 Foundry Street, Savage, MD 20763.

In case of rain, we will go to the second level of the Columbia Mall, near Macy’s.
