Join us this Walktober The Thursday Talk and Walk for October 8 is at 1:00pm at McGill’s Common Pool on Shaker Drive, not far from King’s Contrivance Restaurant. We will walk onto the Patuxent Branch Trail.
From Route 29 South from Columbia Town Center take the Seneca/Shaker Exit, go left to cross Route 29 and go right onto Shaker Road. In about a mile, the Pool parking lot will be on your right. From Route 32, you can take Shaker Drive north to McGill’s Common Pool on left at Carlinda Drive. Set your GPS for 10400 Shaker Dr, Columbia, MD 21046.
This weekly group activity is open to all members, friends, and the public. The Village in Howard offers walkers exercise and conversation.
All are welcome. Nobody is ever left behind. And maybe you'll join us for coffee afterward!
In case of inclement weather, we will gather at the Columbia Mall Macy’s upstairs and proceed with the walk from there.
