Virtual "Hooked on Books" Book Club
TVIH Hooked on Books members and guests meet on Zoom every other month.
Our informal group discussion focuses on a single novel we’ve previously chosen and read.
So far, we’ve enjoyed discovering and discussing literary, regional, historical, and mystery novels of moderate length.
Our Zoom meetings are scheduled the first Tuesday afternoon of every other month:
February, April, June, August, October, and December.
For the month of February, we will be reading Virginia Evans's The Correspondent.

Avid letter writer Sybil Van Antwerp writes and sends letters to those close to her and those she admires
but will never meet. She hopes to make sense of the world and build a full life through connections.
Then, letters from someone in her past force Sybil to examine one of the most painful periods of her life.
She cannot move forward without finding it in her heart to offer real forgiveness.
The novel tracks Sybil’s life from the hubris of youth to the wisdom of old age as mistakes confront us
and true kindness becomes top priority.
