About this event

So, you’ve been diagnosed with low vision. It can’t be corrected with glasses or surgery, making everyday activities, like driving and reading, difficult. Your doctor recommends vision rehabilitation services. One of them is with an occupational therapist who specializes in low vision. Adapting to a disability isn’t easy, but it’s easier if you don’t try to do it alone. Join this session to discover how an OT can help you incorporate tools, techniques, and technology to improve your daily living activities, so you can be as independent as possible.

Presenter: Marie Dixon, owner and occupational therapist, I Adapt OT, LLC

Where: This will be a hybrid presentation: It may be attended in person or virtually

· In person: TVIH Office; 6061 Stevens Forest Rd; Columbia MD 21045
