Because of oppressive heat, 100 degrees F on Wednesday, July 1, the outing to Hillwood is canceled. We will instead have lunch at the Silver Diner in the Trader Joe's/Costco Shopping center off Rte 108. Reservation is for 11:30 am.
If the temperature is comfortable on August 5th, we will have our outing to Hillwood.
General Information:
The Women's Pod typically visits different places of interest monthly, alternating between outings and lunches. The Pod determines their optimum group size and activities with the goal of facilitating positive supportive relationships. Members receive event information and confirm participation directly to their coordinator, Froydis Beckerman.

Background Information:
Marjorie Merriweather Post's grand estate offers 13 acres of beautiful gardens and a museum with decorative and fine arts collected on her many trips to England, France and Russia. The estate also has a green house with orchids and a restaurant and coffee shop.
